shining a ring around the black hole
anchoring the center of a galactic heart
It feels at a distance this lenticular caress,
bent, arcing over the interstellar chasm
separating love from fulfillment
Gravity warps, accelerates, casts out
time and distance, bright recognition
of love laying, waiting for our fall
...waiting for our fall...Great summation and a truthful ending.
ReplyDeleteGreat use of astrology words.. So good expressing distance and coldness.
ReplyDeleteThere seems to be a desire to seek connections across the expanse of space! Great lines IG!

ReplyDeletewaiting for our fall..hope it will be gentle..
Yes. We use the expression; 'falling in love' but we seem to concentrate on the 'love' and don't quite take in the 'fall' that often awaits.
ReplyDeleteIn the hopes that something wonderful this way comes! Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteThe chasm separating love from fulfillment...oh the image just fell into your words...beautiful...
