Night breeze, swaying bird feeder,
felt pretty good, looked good
for a minute

the moon comes into view
and you promised, you did,
to lay in the dark and watch it

but you didn't, damnit, so now
put that down, back away, turn off the light,
shut up, just shut up and listen
