*A Gumbo high-five for whoever guesses where this quote came from, and by whom.

"You aren't going to admit that for the first time in your life, you committed a purely human, emotional act?"*
YouTube made today's status report so easy. Just in case anyone was wondering...

Same person who said, ""Now we all know, and I'm sure the doctor would agree with me, that desperation is a highly emotional state of mind. So how does your well known logic explain that?"
ReplyDeleteStar Trek .. I love it when people use quotes from such high minded intelligent sources :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, sounds like Bones talkin'.
ReplyDeleteHow ya doing, Gumby?
ReplyDeleteThe OLD Star Trek? Now those are the ones I loved.
ReplyDeleteYep, McCoy to Spock, but I'm not sure which movie. I've seen 'em all, and they tend to blend together after awhile.
ReplyDeleteOh, please, Irish - gimme a hard one. Star Trek - The Galileo Seven.

Oh, and it was Kirk to Spock.

I remember that one :-) and I love this video....
ReplyDelete"Sometimes my head hurts and sometimes my stomach hurts and I guess it won't be long
Till I'm sitting in a room with a bunch
of people whose necks and backs are aching
Whose sight and hearing's failing
Who just can't seem to get it up"
wahhhh...I AM an adult now
No idea, but from what I've heard, Gumbo High Fives are not as amazing as the public believe.
ReplyDeleteThe irony of the quote that is that Spock constantly exhibited human emotions but was in constant denial.
ReplyDeleteSpock and Bones...I loved those grouchy guys!
ReplyDeletePlease don't get me started on anything Trek Irish! I'm a total geek with it completely.
ReplyDeleteI have told far to many crap jokes about the Crystalline Entity!
Pursuit of Happiness? I didn't know anyone outside of Canada even knew of them.
ReplyDeleteFull disclosure: totally hate Star Trek! oh well!
ReplyDeleteMy ex-husband said it to me a couple of weeks ago... He, obviously, stole the line.
ReplyDeleteI said that exact line to my dog last week when I walked in and caught him lounging in my chair, smoking a cigar, and shaking his head at The Wall Street Journal...
ReplyDeleteAh man, I'm with the Captain, how on earth did you hear about the PoH? That song got pretty good rotation in Canada and even more so where I used to live because they started in that city but I never thought it got out into the wider world.
