So you're leaving your loyal followers for some piece of the Hollywood pie? Cool! In about 6 years, can I look you up? My daughter will need a part in something...
I wouldn't say that you are wasting it, Irish. Just maybe holding back on it, a little. Funny, but I do the same thing, sometimes. It's actually a defense mechanism and not a bad thing. Cheers!
every once in a while, as we trudge along in the little ditch we dig ourselves into, we trip over something that reminds us what we are supposed to be doing here. Either we redirect ourselves with renewed enthusiasm and energy, and climb out of the rut, or we just pitch it over our shoulder, and keep plodding along, content and warm...until the monsoon hits and fills the rut with flood waters...as we float up and out of the rut, we realize, we cannot escapte the inevitable....
oh and my word verification was "lickerp" LOL - that is funny
The Tao of Chazz...
ReplyDeleteand no, the saddest thing is a wasted pint...
Fortunately I've never seen one :)
Peace - Rene
I don't know if anyone is trying to tell you something, but I'd call this a fortuitous coincidence.
ReplyDeleteIf I was one of those who think that everything has some deep meaning and is arranged by fate, I'd say there was something in the wind.
ReplyDeleteBut I am not, so I'll just say you were clumsy and you should have taped that piece of paper into the folder so you wouldn't lose it.
I think you'd be a great actor! ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, I do...and...WAIT! Your PHOTO is in your header???!!! You STAR!!

ReplyDeleteKeep that blurb handy. It's one of those things we all need to be reminded of on a regular basis. Thanks, I needed to read that too.
ReplyDeleteAnd your talent is being wasted how exactly? It seems to me it is being utilized quite regularly on this here blog.
ReplyDeleteYou know how I feel on this issue...
ReplyDeleteWhoa!
ReplyDeleteThe Force is all around you. Listen to it.
ReplyDeleteAre you a Palminteri?
ReplyDeletedope slap from the universe on a scrap of paper.

ReplyDeleteYeah, man! It says you need to get published.
ReplyDeleteKinda like fortune cookie messages from the ether.
ReplyDeletelisten much?
ReplyDeleteWe are not here alone.
ReplyDeletePerhaps, is it worse to never discover your talent?
ReplyDeleteI think someone is always trying to tell me something but honestly, I can be a bit hard of hearing sometimes.

I got tired of trying to figure out if someone is sending me messages. Hard enough to remember my own name, let alone decode secret messages.
ReplyDeleteThe note doesn't seem like such a message -- the fact that you felt that it was seems like a message.
ReplyDeleteWhat will you do about it Gumbo? Get out of the soup and have a go?
ReplyDeleteCheers
June in Oz
I call that a God moment.
ReplyDeleteI love that quote and I adore Chaz Palminteri.
ReplyDeleteI think this means you are supposed to do something or actors posing as mafia are going to come after you.
Do I have to hit you on the head with a sledgehammer? Cause I will!
ReplyDeleteDarling man, a talent need not always be one's career... but tis a good thing indeed when they can be meshed together.
ReplyDelete*hug*
