Pensive, with Rain...

The weight of the day falls heavy, and we all seek relief...

So happy to just be home. Time to sit down with the tools o' the trade. The radio was blaring out the Allman Brothers' "One Way Out" (the live version) from Eat A Peach...it was just what the doctor ordered on this, a rainy day of the soul.

Join me, won't you? I have an extra glass or two...

  8. You know, I see on movies and stuff how Americans knock back shots of Scotch and other liquors like they're soft drinks. Is that, like, true?? Or are you actually sipping that single malt in the fine, elegant, and slooooow way it's meant to be enjoyed? Cos those movies? They piss me off. My swearing is increasing. I need to go to the fields....:)))

  9. I have a bottle of Glendullan single malt straight from Scotland. I refuse to drink the stuff (me + any kind of whiskey = vomit), but I know it's expensive so I keep it just in case anyone ever wants any.
I had a jello shot last night. lol

  11. What Kevin said, but I'd move the glass. The base is going to catch the edge of the laptop at some point and I'm pretty sure Dell's warranty doesn't cover scotch.

  12. Where does the real writing take place - in the book or laptop?
Though, I can't quite get a grasp on your penmanship.
