Yesterday, my 'moment of enlightenment' came when I thought of a blog post I could write, based on WikiLeaks. I would rhyme with 'wiki', and do parenting-centric themes, like 'StickyLeaks', or 'MickeyLeaks', etc. And THEN, I watched Conan O'Brien, who had a 'RickyLeaks' segment. Not only is my idea shot to hell, but his use of it, shall we say, sucked. Yeah. F#@^. The hook bites deep.
Rarely, if ever, do we advance personally, spiritually or otherwise without a crisis point. The trick is to seize the opportunity to learn and grow and not run away because it is too uncomfortable. Squirming mindlessly on the hook only drives the hook deeper.
I hate that feeling.
ReplyDeleteexciting though, no?

ReplyDeleteWe have all been there at one time or another....love this one! :-)
ReplyDeleteI do all catch and release, although I am sure that when the hook sinks in, it hurts.
