A Nice Thing Happened To Me

Between the rain and the sun today, I found time to check in the digital fridge, looking for a snack. And there it was, right on the center shelf, next to the last bottle of Guinness:

Someone was kind to me today. Merrily Down The Stream gave me an award! Stop by her place, and check it out, say hello. An award for something good, that's a lagniappe, for sure.

Happy Wednesday, one and all.

  4. Last Guinness?!! Holy hell!

That's no good at all. I'll start a batch of Kentucky Breakfast Stout right away. Let's see....

18 lbs of American Two Row Barely
2 lbs of Black Patten Malt
    1 lbs Flaked Barley
    1 lbs Carapils
    1 lbs Smoked Malt
    1 lbs. Chocolate Malt
Should I put some Bourbon soaked Oak chips in the fermenter?

  12. That award seems to perfect for you! Congrats! You need to make a run to the beer store, young man! Wait... can you buy it in the grocery sotre and walmart and stuff? I live in PA and we CONTROLLED BY THE STATE! We have to go to the Beer Distributors and some bars can sell beer by the 6 pack. but no more than 2 6-packs at a time! dumb laws.
