Winter Poetry Slam: Ft. McHenry Meditation #1

Crystal skies, chill gust
Leaves tumbling, swirling around
My autumnal heart.

  1. Well the first line sounds like my entire winter season! Very loverly imagery my friend, as per usual! You never disappoint!

  2. Nice, but my drive to St Louis two weeks ago...

Leafless trees shout out cold cries...

  3. Lovely Irish. And congrats on your 300th. Just read that post too.

  4. I enjoy your haiku. And congratulations on 300; that's a lot of words. Ambition or accident?

  5. I'm glad that the heart isn't frozen. I would rather have an autumnal one than a heart of wintry ice.

Don't suffer your crimes
Let the love in your heart take control..."
