Winter Poetry Slam: Uno

Southward the geese fly
Mournfully, I hear their cries
Broken heart holds you

  1. Those geese are going to be so flippin disappointed when they arrive. We've been freezing for the past three weeks.

  2. I hope they don't go East, or West, it's pretty disappointing here too.

  3. They'd best keep moving... maybe to Costa Rica.

  4. I passed a field yesterday and there were hundreds and hundreds of geese sitting there! They must have heard the weather reports coming out of the south and how cold it is down there. Why use up the energy? Let's just hunker down here for the winter!

  5. That last line really gets you thinking Gumbo...you did slam us, you did...

"Let your laws come undone
Don't suffer your crimes
Let the love in your heart take control..."
