Spring Poetry Slam #1: Rain Song

Flowers unfolding,
My heart awakens, she is
sound between the drops

  1. I remember hearing a voice once said, somewhere between rural sheaves of wind, "In the beat resounding in silence / She resides." I wonder if that voice is archetypal. Anyway, what you said. - Brendan

  2. Brendan's comment is lovely. Crisp, clear, vivid poem.

  3. I like how the word "sound" comes so unexpectedly, that you can really feel (or hear) that moment -- whatever it is --

"Let your laws come undone
Don't suffer your crimes
Let the love in your heart take control..."

-'The Hair Song', by Black Mountain

Tell me what is in your heart...
