In the silence between drops
Hear the childrens' cries

  2. Can I tell you about the ice storm aftermath I came out to after work one night in Northern Virginia? An inch thick layer of ice all over my car, 20 minutes of scraping and defroster work to clear a space on the windshield big enough to allow me to drive?

And people wonder why I put up with the heat and humidity of Florida summers...
